MOTW: Yummy Mummy by Butter London

The most perfect nude of all time? Perhaps. The most boring MOTW photo of all time, due to said nudity? Perhaps.

What are you wearing on your nails this week? What is your favorite nude nail polish? I’m always on the lookout for new ones to add into my rotation…

MOTW: La Moss

Sometimes, even during the beyond-hot dog days of summer, I crave a rich, dark nail color. This is La Moss by Butter London and it’s dark and amazing and beautiful. Per usual, neither my shoddy nail painting skills, nor my crappy phone camera do it justice!

MOTW: Pink Pong

Sometimes, after crazy colors and finishes and whatnot, I just feel like my nails need a breather. A palate cleanser of sorts. And Pink Pong by Sally Hansen (part of the Complete Salon Manicure line, which is amazing) is my go-to for a nice, quiet mani…

Nothing outlandish or exciting to see around here – just the most perfect pinky-nude shade for my skin tone. This is only one coat, so there is some definite VNL, but I actually like it sheer like this.

MOTW: Birthday Suit

This is the first – and definitely will not be the last – polish that I bought from the new(ish) Sally Hansen Miracle Gel collection:

It’s a milky pinky nude that manages to be both basic and chic. The perfect color for giving nails a “breather” or for occasions when you just need a nice simple clean looking nail. The formula is definitely to-notch, although I haven’t been able to get to the 14 day mark that Miracle Gel claims it can last. But to be honest, I haven’t really tried too hard – it would be a little boring to have the same color on my nails for two whole weeks!

MOTW: Hodgepodge

Now, that’s not the name of the nail polish, although it would be a great name! I was even more indecisive than usual this week, so I grabbed a bunch of bottles that were calling out to me, and came up with a little bit of a hodgepodge.

For being a random assortment of different colors, I really liked the way this ended up.

On my pointer and middle fingers, I did a crelly sandwich with a pale white polish from CoverGirl (NAME) and Color Show Jewels by Maybelline in Gleaming Graphite (super unusual – highly recommend seeing if you can find it).

That’s the gorgeous, summery Turquoise & Caicos by Essie on my ring finger, and the gorgeous Paulette by Julep on my pinky.

My thumb was just a (relatively) boring white shimmer by Sally Hansen.

What do you think? A little wild for a conservative work place, I suppose, but it ended up bring really fun to incorporate so many different colors and types of polish in one look.
