Review: Aveeno Targeted Tone Corrector (Influenster)

This was my first opportunity to qualify for an Influenster VoxBox, and I have to say, it’s been pretty fun! I’m feeling quite #RadiantWithAVEENO these days…

aveeno tone corrector

To be very clear and upfront, I received this full sized Aveeno Targeted Tone Corrector for free from Influenster, in exchange for an honest review and other types of feedback and social media activity. All of my thoughts and opinions below are just that – my honest thoughts and opinions.

First off, let’s look at what Aveeno has to say about its own product:
“This targeted treatment helps reduce the look of stubborn dark spots, discolorations, and uneven tone to improve skin’s radiance in just 2 weeks. This concentrated formula combines clinically proven ACTIVE NATURALS® Total Soy Complex, one of nature’s most effective tone correctors, with vitamin A for faster results. It is oil free, noncomedogenic and nonirritating.”

This product comes in a tall 1.1 ounce tube with an screw on cap, that makes it easy to dispense with no mess. I’ve incorporated into my skincare routine by using it after toner and before moisturizer, both morning and night. It dispenses as a fairly thick white cream, with little to no scent. It does not feel harsh or stinging upon application. Similar to my experience with other Aveeno products, this product is effective without overdoing it – no irritation or breakouts.

I like this product a lot. Sometimes I feel like it’s hard to tell if a skincare product is working or not, because I’m always using it in conjunction with other things. I don’t have the time (or desire) to only use this product all on its own. That just wouldn’t make sense, being a busy modern girl with places to go and people to see! But in conjunction with my other skincare products, most of which are tailored to combination/sensitive skin, it has worked out really well. My skin tone is definitely more even, and my pigmentation issues seem to have lessened.

How about you? Are you an Influenster member? Have you tried the Aveeno Tone Corrector? Let me know in the comments!
